I-Wayne’s Latest Effort Book Of Life

RECIEVES SUPERLATIVE PRAISE

I-Wayne does it again. Critics are rating I-Wayne’s sophomore album Book
Of Life (Nov. 6th) amongst and above his highly-acclaimed debut Lava
Ground. In 2005 I-Wayne’s fiery #1 hit “Can’t Satisfy Her” and his debut
album Lava Ground, received positive recognition across the board. From
The New York Times to MSNBC to Newsday, media could not stop raving
about this new prolific voice in reggae.  Now, see why critics are
giving their stamp of approval as well as stronger ratings for I-Wayne’s
Book Of Life.

MIAMI NEW TIMES –“I-Wayne brings his songwriting A game with Book of
Life. His high-pitched, sexier-than-thou voice also sounds more
confident and ripe on this second effort…”

GIANT –“The Rastafarian singjay is blatantly wiser, on his
recently-released sophomore album, Book of Life
<
http://www.giantstep.net/releases/1703> , an untouchable
exemplification of simplistic uplifting lyrics coupled with airy
instrumentals that will force listeners to develop a greater
appreciation for life.”

TIME OUT NEW YORK –“The 27-year-old tenor delivers his lines with an
earnest, almost angelic touch… I-Wayne’s voice is so rich that it’s
easy to overlook, or completely miss, his thought-provoking lyrical
content.”

ALLHIPHOP — “I-Wayne Stays Dropping Heat Lava…5/5”

PLAYBOY’S Annual Music Poll– Book Of Life nominated for Best World

Shaggy Intoxicating At #1

Dancehall superstar’s new album ‘Intoxication’ debuts at #1 on the
Billboard Reggae chart, positive reviews continue to roll in.

Next single “What’s Love” with hitmaker Akon

With an album “that merges catchy choruses with deep, fluid growls
landing like smart bombs over irresistible beats” (Village Voice),
20-times platinum dancehall superstar Shaggy debuted at #1 on
Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums chart with his new album ‘Intoxication’
(Big Yard/ VP Records).  The #1 bow is the fourth time Shaggy has hit
the top of the Reggae charts.

The debut comes on the heels of critical acclaim for ‘Intoxication,’
with People magazine raving club smash “Church Heathen” “ingeniously
intermixes dancehall riddims and Gregorian chant.”   The next single
released will be the undeniable “What’s Love,” featuring hitmaking
machine Akon.  Akon adds a silky smooth chorus to the track, as Shaggy
deliberates leaving his girl for all the wrong reasons.

TARRUS RILEY SHOWS HIS “LION PAW,”

HIS BRAND NEW VIDEO

Tarrus Riley has recently released the video for his latest song Lion
Paw LIVE, a tune that  seeks to give strength to all ‘trodding’ on the
journey and teaches that no evil can do you harm “cause dem caan squeeze
mi lion paw”.  The video for Lion Paw LIVE was recorded in front of a
live audience in Kingston’s historical Ward Theatre and the Courtleigh
Auditorium. The video directed by Martei Korley, edited by ‘I am the
Kritik’ and shot by Gareth Daley and Asha, is presently being aired on
local and international TV.

The video has the look and feel of a live Tarrus Riley performance.
Tarrus Riley envisioned the idea for the video, as he was frustrated
with the type of videos that the people were being exposed to. “I wanted
to give the people the feeling that I am right there with them in the
struggle giving them inspiration,” said Tarrus Riley.

Lion Paw LIVE is the fourth video to come off Riley’s sophomore album
Parables, which was produced by Dean Fraser of Canon Productions and
released by VP records in October 2006. This video follows Stay With
You, Beware and the number one hit She’s Royal.
