PARIS HOUSTON’S B-DAY BASH  &   AIDS BENEFIT AWARENESS

H-town’s R&B sensation Paris Houston is throwing a birthday bash on Saturday, October 13, 2007. Many are familiar with Paris as she was a 2002 contestant on American Idol and was able to make the trip to Hollywood. She has been performing for years from local talent shows, to the 1997 Sammy Davis Awards first runner up; performing for Mayor Lee Brown, Sheila Jackson Lee and Channel 13; opening up for Young Dro, Plies, Rich Boy, and Yung Joc just to name a few.

At this present time Paris is with Grand Slam Records promoting her singles. She has received radio spins with Cookie Dough and now is pushing her new single “Lo Cuts” with Choppa. She is giving the ladies the anthems and the brother’s the sex appeal with that on her side she is destined for success. Grand Slam is anticipating an early 2008 release.

Paris’ birthday bash is no selfish act as she will donate proceeds to the Houston Aids Foundation. The AIDS fight is something that Paris feels passionate about as she has a distant cousin that is being treated with AIDS, “I feel personally there is a cure for a disease. The expectancy for AIDS patients are not long, but you have people like Magic Johnson that is still alive. They find ways to help out cancer patients with chemotherapy, so there should be something for AIDS.”
